“The sacred wound”

The project is dedicated to Ukrainian revolution of dignity, which lasted in Kyiv from November 2013 to spring 2014.

Works of Olga Yatsenko and Oscar Dumitrashchuk made in author’s technique, which combines photographs of the places where there were clashes and artistic display events that took place in those places.
This illustration shows the Ukrainian memories that appear in the mind each time passes through the places where it happened. In the works we can find illustrated chronology of key events in euromaidan.
During these events came the realization that the struggle is not only for the European values, but also against the criminal power, the pro-Russian regime of President Yanukovych. This has resulted in a revival in Ukraine spirit of the nation, showing its strength and unity
More than a hundred people put their lives on the altar of victory in the fight for freedom.
” The sacred wound” – honors the heroes who started the struggle of the Ukrainian people against the criminal, corruption and pro-Russian factions in power.
The authors also wish to convey to the international community and citizens of Ukraine authenticity of the events that took place before the eyes of ordinary Ukrainian.

The events depicted in the works – a wound in the history of Ukraine, but at the heart of courage and unity -It’s the key to the nation’s freedom!

«Священна рана»

Проект присвячений Українській революції гідності, яка тривала у Києві з листопада 2013 до весни 2014 року.
Роботи Ольги Яценко та Оскара Думітращука зроблені в авторській техніці, яка поєднує у собі фотографії тих місць, де
були сутички та художнє відображення подій, що відбувалися у тих місцях.

Саме ілюстрація відображує спогади українців, які з’являються у свідомості кожного разу, коли проходиш по місцях,
де все відбувалося . В роботах зображено хронологію ключових подій на Євромайдані.
Під час цих подій прийшло усвідомлення, що боротьба йде не тільки за європейські цінності, а і проти злочинної влади,проросійського режиму президента Януковича. Це стало причиною відродження в Україні Духу Нації, показавши його силу та єдність. Більше сотні людей поклали свої життя на вівтар перемоги у боротьбі за свободу.

Проект «Священна рана» – шана героям, які розпочали боротьбу українського народу проти злочинних,
корумпованих та проросійських угрупувань у владі.
Автори також хочуть донести до світової спільноти та громадян України справжність подій, що відбувалися на очах
простих українців.
Події, що зображені у роботах,- рана в історії України, але хоробрість у серці та єднання -це ключ до свободи нації!
